Hi Jim,

The title of your post made me chuckle. Maybe it would help if you go through all the beautiful summer photos of your garden? I do like seeing your winter photos...

Garden nurseries are a sure fire antidote to the dreariness of winter - just leave the wallet locked in the trunk, else you end up with an indoor garden as well!

Tired of that old white garden already? Me too ;-).
You can get a green fix at the Cleveland Garden Show.
You have some marvelous hosta's in that bed.

I need green too, Jim...and not the green oozing mess at the bottom of the vegetable crisper in the fridge, either. HOW many months til spring???

So, through the miracle of the internet, you can have green every day!

Your hostas are Fantastic!

Have you ever considered getting some sand and working that into your clay soil? The peat is good and necessary too, but I find that working sand into my clay soil really helps the drainage a lot.

Whatever. Your hostas do not seem to mind being in clay to the center of the earth!

I promise spring will come.

I need green too - the world has been very monochrome the last couple of weeks.
