Bob the Dog

He just wants to hang out with anyone who'll throw his towel across the room.

Snow Day

The snow just keeps on coming. The temperature rarely gets above freezing so it keeps piling up. A nice side effect of the snow is that it looks pretty after each snowfall. Luckly, Jimmy's been home for a couple of days, so he's been a lot of help. Fred won't go outside till the driveway's been cleared and then it's still a struggle. Pat likes to talk him out, I just drag him. Bob loves the snow; something in his doggie DNA tells him that he belongs in the snow.

This is as far as Fred goes. You have to drag him out of the garage. He really hates snow. You can't blame him. The snow's higher than he is.

Do you think that Al Gore shovels snow?

So how much snow can this deck hold, and what is Bob looking at?

Springtime in America

I wanted to write something about how happy I am that Bush is finally gone to live in delusional retirement. Maybe Christopher Hitchens'll write a book called "The Trial of Dick Cheney." We survived Dick Nixon and he was really evil, not just stupid, so surviving Bush shouldn't be too hard. Well, that just takes away from the joy of the event.

So let's sit back and revel in the peaceful change of power once again.

I'm back

My camera came back from repair today and I took the full dose of my pain pills, so why not go out into the back yard. We're having an Al Gore kind of winter in Cleveland this year. Or is it , where is Al Gore when you need him? Well whatever the case is, we haven't been above freezing for 2 or 3 weeks. The back yard has about a foot and a half of snow in it. Fred doesn't even want to go outside. Bob likes the snow, but gets bogged down because it's so deep.
Pat and I have the greatest neighbors you could ask for. They've cleared our driveway since I hurt my back by falling through the ceiling.
