Day lilies
We started planting day lilies almost as soon as the snow melted the first year in Ohio. They were your generic orange day lilies you see on the side of county roads in Illinois and Ohio. No, I didn't stop and dig any out, not that I didn't think about it. We were going to catalogue the different kinds we have for the garden club plant sale. But since we've quit the garden club, we don't have to adhere to the garden police rules. We are going to dig them up this fall and move them around because they are getting too crowded. Besides we need our sweet peet fix.
