We have some of the best fed squirrels in Ohio. To keep them out of the bird feeders, we throw bird seed, sunflower seeds and corn in the back of the yards. They are so brazen that they don't run away when you approach. They back off, but they don't run. They drive Fred up a wall.
We have a bunch of different kinds of bees hanging around all the flowers. I don't know if the big black ones are actually bees, but they are the only ones the sit still long enough for me to take pictures. Check out all the pollen on the one in the fourth and fifth pictures.
