Annie's garden and a lizard

These are pictures of our friend Annie Flinn's yard in Lavergne CA. I know, I know, and I also thought that it was just a stop on the Burlington going to the Loop, or the name of a street on the north side of the city. But, I digress. Pat and I saw plenty of yards on our daily walks while we were in Costa Mesa, but we didn't see a lot of gardening. We saw a lot of plant and forget about it landscaping. The pictures tell the story. Annie's yard is gorgeous. Plants that stay small back home get super sized in Annie's back yard. I don't know the names, but the green and pink leafed thingy and the green and purple leafed thingy are what I'm talking about. I'm used to critters with fur sharing space with me in the garden. I'm not used to animals whose ancestors have shows on the discovery channel. I mean for crying out loud, imagine my suprise when this lizard goes running by on the wall. I'm taking pictures and this lizard just shoots past me. What kind of lizard you might ask? It's a grey lizard. The way it was sneaking around for all I know it's a republican lizard.
For identification purposes, Annie is in blue and Pat is in red. What they are looking is for another story.
I know there are a lot of pictures to look at. Take the time, blow them up. It is well worth the time.
