The Great Big Home and Garden Expo part2

Two of the coolest gardens at the garden show were the Wizard of Oz and the Alice in Wonderland gardens. I couldn’t resist having Pat take a picture of me with the White Rabbit. I kept looking for the flying monkeys, but couldn’t find any. Just as well, they scared the bejeezus out of me when I was little and still kind of give me the willies. Walking through these gardens was like going to a twin bill.

I thought I had cabin fever before - after seeing these pictures, I'm in big trouble! (I need a garden fix... better go 'Google' garden shows in Chicago, right now!) Thanks for sharing your travels!

WoW! now they had some great garden set ups in Cleveland.
I love the long walkway and the barn.Good grief Alice and Red made for some great displays. How fun. I think I need that big bunny. LOL! I can only hope Columbus's Show will be as good.

This gives me some great ideas for my garden adventures I am planning for a couple of girls who will be having their "coming out" this Spring.

Omi Annie needs to get designing soon.

Loved the pics! After all, don't all gardens have a bit of magic? :-D

have you and mom ever considered working for one of the exhibitors who put out those huge garden displays? those gardens don't pop up over night (well, actually, they do - but there's a lot of planning that goes on beforehand). if the teaching thing doesn't work out - maybe you could start a new career as garden expo display planner/gardener.

I am so with you about the monkeys--they were the scariest thing in the movie.

Glad there were no flying monkeys, but I loved seeing the Cowardly Lion. Now I really need to see some spring around here.
