Snow Day!

Since the invention of snow, these are the words that every student yearns to hear. They get to stay home, and I get to take pictures. I'll shovel when it stops.

Students aren't they only ones to cheer a "snow day." It would seem that their teachers do, too!!!

Whoa, that is a lot of snow! I realize I'm a total winter weakling compared to you guys. I really hope you are spared the worst of this new storm, Jim. Stay safe and warm. :)

I have to laugh, Jim! This is my fourth year of non-teaching. Last year during a lovely snowfall, I called one of my friends who is still in the school system.

"Nanc, are you enjoying your snow day?" I asked her. "'Shady'," she answered. "This is Christmas break!" (Oh, how soon we lose track of things... but not the happy feeling of a "snow day!") lol

I hope you enjoyed your snow day as well :^) The snow is beautiful when it rests on your plants....

Dear Jim, I found your blog via The Idiot Gardener, and it's nice to see someone with so much enthusiasm. I'm horrified that the homeowners' association frown on greenhouses, that'd bring out the rebel in me for sure.
