Thank you Blotanists

I've been a member of a site called Blotanical http://www.blotanical.com/ for a month now. One of my faults or virtues, depending who in the family you are, is that I don't usually read directions. Well, maybe I need to change. There is a function called "picks" in Blotanical that allows viewers to "pick" a blog they find interesting.

Have you ever wondered if anyone looks at your blog besides family, who may do it just to be left alone? When I found out how to use the "pick" function, much to my surprise, I found that lots of people have read my blog. It was humbling, to say the least. I started to email everyone and offer a belated thanks. Then I thought, a public thank you was better. Thank you to all who "picked" one of my posts.

As you know by now, I always have a pic. This is marsh milkweed. It is native to Ohio and attracts butterflies. The garden club said it was an invasive weed. Pat and I quit the garden club.

And did you have to drag Pat out of there, kicking and screaming? LOL

I would have quit too. Some people make you nervous, some just make you mad.

That was a very nice 'Thank you'.

Yes, that was a nice thank you.
I wish I could say that I would be the kind of person to tell the garden club to put their opinions where the sun don't shine, but I am too shy. good for you for saying goodbye!

Hi Jim,

It took me awhile to get the hang of how things worked at Blotanical too. But, now I think I have it figured out and I just love it.

A weed to one person is a desired plant for another :)

No,I was the one who wanted to join the garden club. I wanted to improve my craft. I knew it was going to be a little weird when I relized that I was the only man in the club. What I found was that the state of my craft was pretty good and a bunch of stick in the muds who knew the true path of gardening. Blotanical is the place to improve my craft. I think Pat said something like "told ya so".
