November in Cleveland

It rained all day yesterday, and the day before, and the day before that, I think. I keep a flashlight with me so I can shine it in my eyes and pretend that it's the sun.

November, before the snow gets deep, is an interesting time in the garden. We havn't had a killing frost yet. The ligularia and brunera are still alive, as are some of the annuals. The various ground covers we have stay green all year.

It started to snow right after I took the pics of the back yard. What better time to take the boys for a walk.

Emma demanded we build a snowman today. She's a planner, that kid.
