Oh deer

It shouldn’t have been a surprise to us that we have deer in our yard every day.  We followed the check list for the wildlife habitat certificate. The more visitors the better, once you open the door everybody’s welcome.  We have enough plants in the yard that if a few get eaten; we’re the only people who notice.
What is surprising is that Bambi or Thumper, or Sneezy (I get my movie characters confused) visit during the day while Pat and I are relaxing in the yard.

Bob eventually saw the deer and started barking. Fred joined in because as always, he thought the house was under attack. The deer figured it was time to leave.

That is amazing. I suspect you would have more damage if Bob and Fred weren't around! I have never seen a deer anywhere near here, though we have foxes, raccoons, and other critters. By the way, your beautiful garden looks incredibly lush!

I think Bob and Fred has done a good job keeping the deer at bay! Nice seating area :)

It's so nice to see wild animals. Earlier when I was living in the countryside I saw a lot of Mooses and rabbits. Now we have a lot of "city foxes" around us. This summer I've seen them more than during my lifetime earlier.

They sure love your garden Jim. I do not know how you even have a hosta left. LOL!

What a beautiful view you have from your patio. Even the deer looks like garden art.
