beauty on the tollway

Coming home from what have turned into weekly 4 day visits to Chicago, I happened upon beauty on the tollway in Indiana. For a moment, I forgot why I’m making these trips.

I love little spots of beauty that occur unexpectedly that can brighten even a dismal day :-)

It is amazing how something so pretty can survive the elements where it grows. What a wonderful bit of color for your trip.

Hi Jim and Pat. It is wonderful to find something unexpected and beautiful to take your mind off of hard and tiring days.

It is lovely to acknowledge a 'beauty' in such a place. I am sure the Hibiscus appreciated the praise. A little jewel to lighten your drive. ;>)

Beauty meant just for you, Jim, in these hard days. Thinking of you...

God, The Universe, your Guardian Angel, call it what you will, these little gifts are there for us, shining, as Shakespeare said, like a good deed in a naughty world.

Great title for a song Jim - and a prettiness to brighten the long hard road you're travelling

I was on the A3 yesterday and saw a mouldy badger and a KFC box. Having said that, I did get excited the other day when walking to the pub, I was confronted by a very hairy cow, which was nice!

Whoa! That "little" 'posey' could cause some wicked whiplash! So glad it could be such a wonderful highlight during your travels! :)

Pat should wear it behind her ear. That would make you smile.
