How luminous! Definitely worth a click to enlarge, Jim. Love to see the two flies sharing a blossom's worth of supper. :)

Jim, I love tradescantia and can't seem to resist photographing them. This one has such lovely violet colors. -Jean

Lovely spiderworts! I'm always glad to see people growing these in their gardens. Mine are always surrounded by bees.

Hi Jim! My spiderwort was provided courtesy of the birds. ;-) I like having it in the shade, as it doesn't get out of control!! This is a lovely cultivar!

What a beautiful flower! Does it grow well in zone 7? I live in the mountains in Idyllwild, CA. I love Hosta too, I haven't planted mine out in the garden because I get too much sun, I need to find a shady spot for it! Thanks for writing me at Blotanical.com I'm glad to meet other gardeners! Feel free to visit my garden anytime :)
