Fluffy bunny?

Evil garden eating alien?

Happy tenent?
This year our rudbeckia was eaten down to the nubs. Maybe if rabbits were canrivorous they wouldn't eat my garden. It might make sitting in the garden a bit dicey. I would hate wake up from a outdoor nap with a rabbit gnawing on my arm. But at least my plants would be left alone.

I feel for any with rabbits. They are kept out of my backyard with my privacy fence, but had a problem with them eating my Heuchera down to nothing this Spring that had just been planted and I had to replace them. They didn't touch the older bigger ones. Someone in the neighborhood has managed to eliminate them. Not sure how and don't want to know.

Hungry, fluffy bunny with an alian attitude! I hated it when a bunny ate every one of my pansies last fall. I am not replanting them this year. So far this summer the bunnies have been content to munch on my wild violets, which I have thousands of, so there's plenty to spare.

Jim,

I had everything eaten by rabbits until I started using the granular Plantskydd for Critters. Somehow they left me alone this spring and summer even though I saw many in my yard during the winter. They ate my clematis under the snow, so maybe this year I will put the plantskydd down in the fall!

Get a dog.

We never have rabbits around here. Maybe those feral cats in the woods are good for something.

NellJean, We have 2 dogs. the dogs come out and the rabbits go away. The boys go in and the rabbits come out.

Lona, there are a couple of feral cats in the neighborhood, but the rabbits are bigger.

Gatsby, Thanks for the heads up on plantskydd.

Jim, I must say that since my favorite carnivores, the foxes, moved back onto my property last year, I haven't had any plants eaten in the garden. I consider occasional fox scat left here and there a small price to pay! -Jean

In spite of nibbling garden flowers, the hare looks so sweet. We have one in the town park eating the parterre's flowers! I hope he won't discover my garden which is just beside the park.

Jim - I just had a flashback to "Monty Python and the Holy Grail"... You know how I feel about "Fuzzy Bunnies". I'm just glad they eat clover - because my yard is full of it, and the Rudibeckia (for the time being) are unharmed. (I still keep bunny fences around some of my bushes - I'm too chicken to risk bush 'decimation'.)
