I wanted to write something about how happy I am that Bush is finally gone to live in delusional retirement. Maybe Christopher Hitchens'll write a book called "The Trial of Dick Cheney." We survived Dick Nixon and he was really evil, not just stupid, so surviving Bush shouldn't be too hard. Well, that just takes away from the joy of the event.
So let's sit back and revel in the peaceful change of power once again.

When Bush got on the helicopter I said something like, See ya George, whereupon all the girls ran to the TV waving and screaming, bye Georgie! bye Georgie! Helen also says that "Obama is our present." That girl has NO idea.
The phrase that came to my mind was "Free at last. Free at last. Thank God Almighty we are free at last."
