Dear Jim, Although, as you may well imagine, I have no idea what or who the Hawks are, their logo is indeed rather splendid. Even more so is your superb header picture of, to me, an unknown hosta.
Just a little side note, Jim. I had Stan Mikita's grandson in my class. His children went to school with my children, and his daughter gave me a signed picture last year for my husband.
Who knew that anyone would even know who he was again! Go Hawks!
I tried to stay up for the end of that game and I couldn't :D I didn't really have a favourite out of the two, but I know you're from Chicago, so I'm happy for you! :D
WOO HOO!!!!! Being from Chicago, Jim, I'm ecstatic! We watched the game last night...so exciting! Being an official Hawk fan, I KNOW the team doesn't mind your post! I'm glad you posted!!!
Yipee! I heard the firecrackers go off in our neighborhood so it was no surprise to some.

ReplyDeleteAre we to take it that a Hawks' win is a rarity?
ReplyDeleteCongrats!
